From a tiny team of dreamers with a vision to change the nutritional landscape of children in Ireland, to becoming a service that’s available to over 100,000 of your kids daily, it now takes one hell of a team! At The Lunch Bag, we’re just regular people doing our very best to provide your school community with the best service we can. Get to know us below… in no particular order, because it takes every one of us to keep this show on the road. From big ideas to delivering the lunches, it’s all hands on deck – and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
In the Boardroom
Keeping things running smoothly in the boardroom isn’t easy, but we’ve got it sussed. Rounding this lot up? That’s the tricky part! Step one: Lure everyone in with snacks. Step two: Tame the chaos! From there, teamwork takes the lead! Ideas fly, strategies take shape, and just the right amount of structure keeps us soaring.
In the Office
In the office, it’s all about dedication, service, and a smile. This hardworking bunch keeps everything ticking behind the scenes. Answering questions, solving problems, and making sure every detail is just right. No matter how busy things get, you’ll always be met with friendly faces and top-notch service.
On the Road
Whether we’re visiting schools to ensure everything’s running smoothly or stopping by for a quick catch-up, we’re always up for a chat about improving your service and the education around it – and we never say no to a good cup of tea (of course). We’re here to make sure every school feels supported, every issue is handled promptly, and every bit of feedback is heard. It’s all part of building strong, lasting relationships.

The kitchen is the heartbeat of The Lunch Bag. Early mornings, fresh ingredients, and a team that works with heart. From peppers to pasta, everything is prepared with care. It’s loud, lively, and full of energy! Just the way we like it.

Food Standards
Our trio uphold the highest standards. No exceptions! We pay strict attention to quality, safety, and compliance. It’s not just about meeting expectations, it’s about protecting the health and wellbeing of the children we serve. Every meal must meet our criteria for being safe, balanced, and nutritious. That’s non-negotiable.
Human Resources
From day one, people and culture have been at the heart of The Lunch Bag. Every member of our team values the culture we’ve built together, creating a workplace where people feel supported, appreciated, and proud to be part of something bigger. (Not to mention the fun we make sure to have too!) Our dedicated HR are the best in the biz!
Finance
Our finance team are the steady hands behind all things numbers. They keep everything in check and build strong relationships with our schools. We’d trust them with our lives! (And yes, our money too!)
Operatives
Our operatives handle one of the most important steps in the chain – making sure every child gets the right lunch, hot and ready at their desk. They become part of the school community, building relationships with kids and helping make mealtimes positive. We hire locally too! Your granny, your mum, your neighbour could be on the team!
